He’s always been a happy person it wasn't until years later that he realized that his dad punched his mom. To write his story, I contacted him and asked for his permission to use his life-changing situation and a Ddfferent point of view. As the conversation going on, he explained that I wasn’t easy but that at the same time everything seemed normal to him, then he started realizing that he wasn’t seen his dad that often. As a child both him and I spent time with each other because we both were the youngest.

While on the phone, I asked him what his reaction now he was realized why did his parent's divorce. He told me that his first reaction was of shame because his dad always taught him that a man should never hit a woman. He continued by saying that each day he saw how his mom got stricter. Every time he saw his dad as he told me, he couldn't believe that he did that. My dad never taught that a man like that would hit his sister after years of knowing him. On the present day my cousin now 20, said to me that remembering those days where both of his parents looked happy was difficult because, most of the time they weren't home and once they arrived, they started arguing with each other.

Writing this story from his point of view makes me realize that although his parents were going through hard times this, they never failed to make him and his sister happy and always supporting them. He finished up by thanking me because no one ever asked what was his point of view was.
