The service operation that I have chosen is DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji, Sonaisali Island which is surrounded by the warm waters of the South Pacific Ocean, just a three minutes boat ride from the main island of Viti Lev, and a short 25 minutes drive from Nadi International Airport. This service operation was officially opened on May 15, 2016. The resort offers a wealth of comforts, a beautiful accommodation and an authentic warm Fijian welcome. This beautiful resort also features three conference spaces, making it a superlative setting for an exceptional corporate event or spectacular wedding.

For the dining experience there are 2 restaurants, a Village Deli (coffee shop) and in-room consuming available 24 hours daily. The main restaurant at the resort is named as Vulani Restaurant that serves Breakfast (6.30am to 11am), Lunch (12pm to 3pm), In-Between menu (3pm to 6pm) and Dinner (6pm to 10pm). The menu features a wide diversity of cuisine, with the combination of fresh seasonal local ingredients and dishes with creative presentations, personal service and exceptional value.
Vulani offers a variety of culinary selections; for wide-ranging buffet selections to memorable a la carte dining experiences. For kids under the age of 12 years eat for free if the parents dine with them. The other restaurant is Tavu Bar and Grill, is set on the beach next to the swimming pool, Tavu offers a relaxed dining experience and a swim-up bar service. Savour an extensive selection of local and international serving dishes and delicious “BBQ style “cuisine, expertly primed by our Chef and accompanied with house-made salads and condiments. Tavu opens daily for Lunch from 12.00pm to 3.00pm and Dinner from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.
Village Deli is the ideal location for light snacks/ pastries, ice creams, smoothies and extensive tea or coffee on to go; open daily from 6.30am to 10.00pm. The buffet service offered at the resort is based on different theme nights every day of the week except Monday and Saturday.
The entertainments at the resorts includes Polynesian dance and fire dance performed every Wednesday from 6.30 to 7.00pm, Fijian Meke on Friday, live music by Fijian Serenades throughout the week from 5pm to 9pm. Nonetheless, team members sing welcome and farewell song for all new arrival or the departure guests every morning during breakfast dining at 9.00am. throughout the day there are different activities like 10.00am is for coconut climbing and tasting, 11.00am is for pool volleyball.
Every Friday at 5pm there is free kava tasting for guests. Other activities include paintball, woodcarving, fishing, sightseeing tours, horse rides, water Sports-Jet Skiing, snorkeling, sailing, tennis court, table tennis, pool, playground. The services provided are baggage storage, Spa and beauty salon, 24-hour fitness room, kids club, ATM, Gift and snack shop (Jack’s), laundry and dry cleaning and self-parking. The resort also provides Sunday church service for in house guests in Korovuto village from 10.00 am to 12.00pm with lunch buffet provided by the village people.
