India is a vast country with a population of over 1.25 billion majority of which belong to low and medium income segment. Literacy levels in the country have been quite low for a long time but have been improving steadily over the years to about 64.8% after the thrust provided by the Government of India through its Right to Education (RTE) in April 2010 which envisages free elementary education to all children in the 6-14 age group in public schools. As per census 2011 data, at 315 million, India has the most students in world. However, the quality of education in State run schools has been a matter of great concerns for variety of reasons; lack of infrastructure, quality of teachers and high students-teacher ratio in majority of schools. Whereas, many privately owned schools have sprung up in India, most of them are quite expensive which middle class families with scare financial resources can ill afford for their children. As a result a large compelling need to have quality education at affordable price. Also the Government of Madhya Pradesh passed an order to distribute laptops to every student. Since years Government is trying to improve the infrastructure of the schools in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. The Union Budget 2018-2019 has come up with a programme known as Samagra Shiksha(education for all) where in students from pre-nursery to class 12 will be given equal opportunities and impartial schooling for underprivileged students. . I aspire to launch my start up venture which will address this segment and provide quality education to the needy children in the 10-14 year age group by adopting low-cost tutoring module and employing innovative teaching methods to the needy students. I consider the services rendered by my enterprise are innovative and will accomplish my cherished dream of providing quality education at affordable price and yet being sustainable.
