Such patterns of life can cause the body to become unhealthy and can cause various diseases. Kotler (2002) claims that a healthy lifestyle is a picture of the activities or activities that are supported by interests, desires, and how the mind goes through it in interacting with the environment (Kotler, 2002). People who have a healthy lifestyle generally go on a diet by one of them doesn’t eat junk food, drink lots of water, and each other. Here the writer will discuss how to live a healthy lifestyle by maintaining a diet. Diet is choosing healthy foods for us to eat. Almatsier (2003) says that a balanced diet is a diet that provides all nutrients in the right amount, not a lot and not too little (Almatsier, 2003).
There are many ways to diet, first avoid junk food. Why we avoid junk food? because junk food is food that is harmful to the body. According to Anggraini (2013), junk food is food that contains a limited amount of nutrients (Anggraini, 2013). Husein (2012) claimed that Junk food does not contain nutrients the body needs to keep the body healthy. As a result, you may easily feel tired and lack the energy needed to do work or everyday tasks. it is caused by the high sugar content in junk food which makes the metabolism of metabolism uncontrolled when we eat refined sugar the pancreas will release high amounts of insulin to prevent dangerous spikes in blood sugar levels caused by junk food. junk food also does not contain a sufficient amount of protein and carbohydrates for the body, it will cause your sugar levels to drop suddenly after eating junk food, this makes you irritable and tired. junk food also contributes to poor performance and obesity, contains a large amount of fat, and fat accumulates in the body. junk food consumption will gain weight and can become obese and get closer to the risk of serious chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis (Husein, 2012). Examples of junk food are hamburgers, fried chicken, french fries potatoes, soft drinks, and pizza (Sari, 2008).
Second, we must drink more water, at least 2 liters of water a day. Because parts of our body contain water, and also water can dissolve dirty substances or substances that are not needed by the body. according to Perdana (2016) drinking, lots of water has many positive effects that are good for the body including raising muscles, keeping skin glowing or bright, controlling calories, maintaining kidney function, and maintaining normal intestinal function. Third, eating healthy foods. Fitriani (2011) states that healthy food is hygienic and nutritious food (Fitriani, 2011). Hygienic food is food that does not contain germs and does not contain toxins that can endanger health. the material the food we will eat must contain a complete and adequate nutritional composition for the body, which consists of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and water. Last, eat on time. if we do not eat on time can cause blood sugar to increase with our body we need to maintain a pattern of time to eat with eating on time and regularly. according to Soewondo (2006) food in small portions promptly will help control blood sugar in the body, and if eating large portions can increase blood sugar levels suddenly and if it is done repeatedly it will lead to disease complications (Soewondo, 2006 ).
