Main information

Malcolm X was a notable human rights activist, who supported the civil rights movement in the USA. He was an African-American Muslim minister, who spoke in favor of the Nation of Islam. After he renounced the Nation of Islam, Malcom X founded the Pan-African Organization of Afro-American Unity (PAAU) and the Islamic Muslim Mosque (MMI).


Malcom X inspired Black Americans to use any means necessary to protect themselves against white aggression. After his assassination, his Autobiography inspired the Black Power movement.


In 1964, Malcom X founded the Organization of Afro-American Unity, which started an activism not against the white race, but against racism.
