This article, examines about Internet of Things (IoT) which is another emerging innovation. Internet of Things is the interconnection of the physical articles with the internet for correspondence with one another. The physical things can share, and trade information with one another via consequently recognizing the things with their one of a kind advanced characters through IoT. This article covers the IoT engineering, favourable circumstances and disadvantages of IoT and its applications.

Introduction

Internet of things has interconnectedness with our daily activities and it has created remarkable influence in this world we live in. The term “Internet of things” was introduced by Kevin Ashton in 1999. During twentieth Century, Computers lack senses, they do the things what we told them to do. With Internet of things, the Computers and other physical things can sense each other. The way of our living is changing day by day. How we drive, how we purchase things and how we get energy appliances for our house is differing from the past ways of our living. If we imagine communicating with our vehicles, electric and other home appliances, it seems like unachievable. But, with Internet of things this is possible which is surprising. Revolution in the field of IT has been made with the creation of Internet of things. IoT is understood by three different models. First is web-based model (middleware), second one is things-based model (sensors) and third is semantic based model (knowledge). How Internet of things work?

Each physical thing has unique identity over network in Internet of things. Hence, sensors and RFID (Radio frequency identification) chips are used for sensing application fields of environment. RFID chips fundamentally assume a key job in IoT which is utilized for programmed recognizing the things with which they are associated and enable the physical articles to have interesting computerized characters which can be incorporated into the system.
