Firstly, Ramesses II rebuilt some of the old existing temples and built lots of new structures of his own. Many of his buildings are extremely famous Egypt buildings. This helped expand his empire, by building more statues of his own, witch will attract many people to come and see. Three of Ramesses II biggest and most influential achievements were; Ramesseum, Pi-Ramesses and Abu Simbel. Secondly, Ramesses II expanded the empire by building the capital of Egypt, Pi-Ramesses, which was very large and very powerful. Many of his achievements shaped and expanded Egypt. This large expansion proves that Ramesses II is a great builder of the empire which can be said that proved his worth of being the best pharaoh to ever exist. The temples he built were very complexly made and very giant. This proves lots of talent and lots of inducement upon the people.
Ramesses II was known to be a famous Egyptian pharaoh known for his military strength. Back at the time, Egypt lost many of their territories that once belonged to them however lost during rule of other ancient Egyptian pharaohs. Ramesses II was well known to fighting with his military strength to take back those lost territories. His army size was around 100 000. One of the most famous battle he fought that proves how he was influential leader; was the battle of Kadesh, which was fought in 1274BC against the Hittites, it was the largest chariot battle ever. This influenced people after him to follow the way he fought and follow the mistakes he made. The military virtuoso of Ramses II secured Egypt's outskirts from remote intruders and privateers along the Mediterranean and in Libya. He figured out how to battle off intrusions from the Hittites and Nubians. Therefore, this proves that his military power helped to save the Egypt borders witch proves he cared for his country and cared for his people. Ramesses II was known for his great religious impact on the Egypt empire. Firstly, The pharaoh was the centre to Egyptian life in all aspects. Laws and duties were made by Ramesses . People worshipped him like a god. This proves that he is such an amazing pharaoh. Secondly, his influence was that Ramesses II had reigned for 30 years he was eligible to hold a Sed- Festival. This Sed- Festival highlighted the much glories of Ramesses II . These festivals he head gave people a religion to follow. Ramesses authority to reward the innocent and punish the guilty. Thirdly, Ramesses II had association with God Seth There were also traces of red hair remaining on his mummy. The red hair trait was associated with the following of and belief in the God Seth. This again proves how worthy he is.
