New Year is not only the time to party. There is the time to bring new things into life also. perfect new year resolutions can shape and reflect us in a better way. As a student, I should refine my thoughts, cultivate good habits and enhance my personality every year. So I’m going to talk about few resolutions that can be considered great to be added to New Year Resolutions.
Turn off social media it is my first resolution to add in this year One of the biggest causes of procrastination is social media. How many times have you tried to do it? When we using social media we do not care what is happening around us as well as wasting time. If you are one of social media user you are not enjoying your real life. Use social media as a learning tool. So this is one of the best resolutions to go for.
Second new year resolution is finding a study buddy. If I have a friend who is also trying to improve their working regime, then why not meet up and work together. We can go to the library and encourage each other to stay all day. We may just talk to each other and not get any work done it is not good but on the other hand, talking about the work you are doing should improve this in the long run. So while working as a team can help improve productivity.
Taking up ourselves to Good Grades is one of my other resolutions. It means improving our grades both academics and disciplines. This is my second year of college. So I have to maintain my GPA if I want to go to a better university in the USA otherwise I cannot admit to even a Sri Lankan university. Therefore I have to keep focusing on studies this year.
Manage Your Time Better, and Sleep More should be a new year resolution of everyone because it is really important to students and workers. Most of the University students are busy than others due to assignments, exams, and part-time jobs. Time management helps you produce more tasks in less time and with lesser efforts. This is thus a good way to combat stress. Sleep is definitely one of the most essential requirements for the human body to function properly. It plays a very important part in ensuring the wellness of the human body both physically as well as mentally. Indeed, the importance of sleep is clear from the fact that it helps you in managing a good lifestyle throughout our entire lifetime. Not only does it help gain our physical and mental health, but rather it also helps in maintaining a decent and healthy lifestyle along with ensuring safety from a number of fatal diseases. The above resolutions are just a few things that fit any person. But we have to analyze about ourselves and come up with a New Year Resolution that makes us a better person in the upcoming years.
