Space X – World’s Most Powerful Rocket

Falcon 9 which is designed and manufactured by SpaceX is a family of two-stage-to-orbit medium lift launch vehicle. It is named for its use of nine first-stage engines. Variants include the retired Falcon 9 v1.0 and Falcon 9 v1.1, as well as the current Falcon 9 Full Thrust, both partially-reusable launch systems powered by rocket engines utilizing liquid oxygen (LOX) and rocket-grade kerosene (RP-1) propellants.

The Tesla Roadster that launched on Tuesday i.e. 6/2/2018 as the first test flight of SpaceX’s powerful Falcon Heavy rocket is heading farther into space than expected.

Millions of people watched in person and via livestream the launch of Space X. SpaceX made a huge effort to share the advance the rebirth of American rocket. The Space X successfully launched its enormous Falcon Heavy rocket in to space.

It is the three-booster rocket which is more powerful than any rocket since the Saturn V which took astronauts to the moon in the 1960s and 1970s lifted off at 3.45 p.m. ET from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida on 6/2/2018. As its second stage sped away from the planet, two of the Falcon Heavy’s spent solid rocket boosters fell back to Earth and landed upright, as planned.

One day the Falcon Heavy will be used to send humans to Mars so that humans can become what SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and others have termed a “multiplanet species. It is done so that people can be capable of surviving if some natural or manmade disaster renders Earth uninhabitable.

The electric vehicle made by Musk’s other company, Tesla is a cherry red prototype of a Roadster. A dummy dubbed “Starman” wore a prototype spacesuit designed was seated in a car’s driver’s seat, for use by future astronauts on missions to the International Space Station (ISS) and possibly to Mars.

The rocket and its payload are now embarked on what Musk called a six-hour “grand tour” of Earth’s Van Allen belts, where it will be bombarded by intense radiation from charged particles captured by our planet’s magnetic field. If the second stage of the Falcon Heavy survives the journey, a final burn will propel the Tesla at 24,000 miles per hour into an elliptical orbit around the sun that reaches beyond Mars.

This is the first time a private company has launched anything deep into space.

Along with the Falcon Heavy, SpaceX is developing a crew-carrying version of its Dragon capsule, which in conjunction with Space’s smaller Falcon 9 rocket has been used to ferry cargo to the ISS since 2012.

Last year, Musk said the Falcon Heavy would be used to send two space tourists in a Dragon capsule on a wild journey around the moon. But on Monday Musk said the rocket would be used strictly for cargo for the foreseeable future.

SpaceX, which is based in Hawthorne and whose full name is Space Exploration Technologies Corp., tried to land the center core on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean, but the booster was lost when it hit the water at about 300 mph and about 328 feet from the platform, taking out two of the platform’s thrusters and scattering debris on the deck.

As projected, the second-stage engine shut down and then restarted twice before embarking on an “experimental long coast” in deep space — including through the high-radiation Van Allen belts that surround Earth — for about six hours.

That maneuver was intended to demonstrate to the U.S. Air Force that the Falcon Heavy could meet specific orbit-insertion requirements for the heaviest national security satellites.
