What happens after we perish into the light? Is there an afterlife, can we still see the world or is it just a bright white light. No one truly knows what happens as soon as we leave this world. But some doctors and spiritualists have been studying and have been looking into people who have died and then came back to life. But some say that there is life after your death because in the Bible Jesus states that, “he who believes in me will live, even though he dies; whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” Some say, “Maybe there is something, I’ll see when I get there. Why worry about it now?” Undoubtedly, all of us are repulsed at the thought of death, because we are made for life. And it is so important to clarify what we can know about life after death. Jews, Muslims and Christians all believe that after this life there is a life of happiness with God. Christians say specifically that we will resurrect with our body, like Jesus Christ.
For many people, death is a redoubtable event because they do not know what to expect after their death. I firmly believe that there is life after Death since I am catholic and do believe in the lord. However, other persons, such as religious people are conscious of what to expect after their death because of their beliefs. Each religion has different ideas and different ways of looking life. Death, therefore, is viewed by different religions in many ways.
The main idea/source is, “Life after death: All about spirituality.” In this article they start to mention that more and more people are asking the same question that Job asked nearly 4,000 years ago in the Bible: ‘If a man dies, will he live again?’ This question has been going on since the early day and it still has been talked about till this day. Right here, Jesus started presenting the astonishing claim that there is life after death. Another example from this is when that Jesus was powerful was when he brought Lazarus back to life after four days in a tomb. Showing everyone that everyone who believes in him will live on forever. But for skeptics, the whole idea of heaven is just the product of imaginations. It’s kinda works to fill in the fear about dying and not knowing what happens after we pass away. The Biblical idea of heaven is too fanciful or fantastic. However, Christians can live their lives with bold hope, thanks to the evidence of history that establishes with convincing us that Jesus not only preceded us in death.
Is there mathematical proof for life after death? No. But if you believe the life-changing evidence for God, Jesus and the Bible, then heaven is as much a concrete reality for you. As the Lord in whom you’ve invested your absolute trust. It’s not fantasy, it’s the absolute life-changing hope that strengthens us and gives us peace for all of those who believe and are still here with us and to those who have passed to keep the lord Jesus Christ close with us.
The second main idea/source is Life after death: SHOCK account of the afterlife from man ‘who saw GOD’ by Sebastian Kettley. In this source of evidence the author has spoken to a man who has claimed he spoke to God and got to choose between life and death after a vicious knife attack left him on the edge between life and death. The man, who only revealed his name as Michiel W in the article, said he has spoken to God after nearly dying in 1976. Michiel claims that he is now on a mission to spread his experience of the afterlife in order to help others deal with their problems.
Michiel states in the article, “I believe God wants me to share this experience as it will help others deal with issues in their lives and it is for this reason you have received it.” He then later explain how see felt his soul leave his body and could see that he was flying. “I was being drawn to the light source as if in a tunnel. It was then that He spoke.” At this moment Michiel said God gave him a choice between life and death. Michiel then claims to have chosen life because “there were still some things” left for him to sort out on Earth. After that God told him that “everything would be ok’ and Michiel’s spirit was cast back towards his body. This is one of many stories of how people who die and later are brought back to life either because of the doctors or because of God.
So the third main idea/source that I have found was “Life after death: Conscious lifestyle magazine.” by David Jay Brown, M.A he claims how not our smartest neuroscientists or our most highly achieved Buddhist lamas. This can tell us that even the smartest person studying the brain can’t even confirm what happens after we pass, while there is compelling evidence that there is life after death and that consciousness survives death, there is also compelling evidence that it does not and the truth is no one knows for sure what happens when we die. But many beliefs about what happens to consciousness after death generally falls into four traditional categories: reincarnation, eternal Heaven or Hell, union with God, or complete nonexistence. This shows the limited amount of possibilities for life after death is likely due to our strong fear of death, which creates a powerful emotional charge and makes playful speculation on this topic difficult for most people as stated by David Jay Brown.
But many don’t believe in God or anything about life after death. Many people believe that there is nothing left after you die. That there is just a black light and that’s where the road ends. One doctor that goes by Dr. Carroll states that “the laws of physics underlying everyday life are completely understood” and everything happens within the realms of possibility. He says for there to be an afterlife, consciousness would need to be something that is entirely separated from our physical body, and by which it is not. The laws of the universe do not allow these particles to operate after our physical demise, according to Dr Carroll. For his evidence, Dr Carroll points to the Quantum Field Theory (QFT). In more simple terms, the QFT is the belief there is one field for each type of particle. Once this is accepted by all scientists, Dr Carroll says, then they can truly begin to understand how the human mind is operated
In conclusion many religions and spiritualist groups believe that in some way or somehow there is life after Death. But many doctors still have so many questions and furthermore studies to confirm that there is a Life after we pass. The religious and spiritualist groups have to talk with the doctors and see each other’s point of view. More research has to be done on the brain to see if anything happens to when we leave this earth. We really can’t do anything but just to live in the moment, enjoy every opportunity.
To adopt a context for living, that even makes sense from the perspective of beyond the grave, to live here on earth as a timeless being instead of a mortal one.
