Many cities are known for their financial influence and bustling business centers. They are resourceful and offer brilliant networking and business opportunities for developing organization. Toronto, New York and Singapore are three highly profitable international meeting destinations that would be ideal for conducting any type of business venture. They allow all stakeholders to experience both the business and pleasure aspect of the visit. Each city has its own unique aura and charm, having plenty to offer to its visitors, and giving them long lasting memories.

Toronto has the largest population across Canada, standing at more than 2 million inhabitants. Due to the ever-dynamic and multicultural crowd, it provides new and exciting networking opportunities constantly. It is the center of business, finance, arts, and culture. It is recognized as one of the most multicultural in the world. “Toronto is North America’s fastest growing technology market and eighth most popular destination for global tech talent.” (Toronto, 1998-2018). This bustling city is considered to be Canada’s financial capital. Toronto is always about great hospitality and mixing work with a good time.

Conference Centre and Hotel

There are multiple conference facilities in the heart of Toronto, which are minutes from the main attractions in Downtown Toronto. New York

Another great city to hold a conference would be New York City. It is also the most densely populated major city in the United States. The city is a major center for banking and finance, retailing, world trade, transportation, tourism, real estate, new media, traditional media, advertising, legal services, accountancy, insurance, theater, fashion, and the arts in the United States. New York City is a fast-paced city with destined for people with a vision and a goal. Everyone in this city always has to be somewhere fast. New York is known for their use of public transportation, subways and taxis. With the wave of your hand, the bright yellow taxicabs magically appear, used commonly by people in a hurry or commuting with heavy luggage or shopping bags. The city’s rail and bus system is known as Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) New York City Transit. “For $2.75, you can use the system citywide and transfer to other subway lines as many times as you need, as long as you don’t exit the system through a turnstile.” (Inc. N. &., 2006-2018). It is inexpensive, environmentally friendly and the best way to get around to see all that the city has to offer.


Last, but not least in any way, is the beautiful city of Singapore. Singapore is a city located in Southeast Asia. It is heavily involved in global commerce and finance. “Singapore has a highly developed and successful free-market economy. It is one of the world’s leading business centers and a major destination for foreign investment.” (Rediff, 2018). They are always producing new innovative ideas and making way for progress in their country.

Singapore is known to host multiple international conference regarding science, business, marketing, technology. Many of those conferences are held in central Singapore itself. The city also has the railway system (Mass Railway Transit and Light Railway Transit) which is an effective way to get around mostly used by locals. (Board, 2018) This city has many places to visit along with many opportunities for new development and growth for the businesses.

All these cities are in the top 10 business and marketing industries. While all options are great, there are benefits to hosting a conference in one city over the other. So if we were to rank them, Singapore would be the first preference as it has the most impact on the business. It may be the furthest and the costliest, but it has many networking and progressive opportunities. Singapore is filled with business opportunities and knowledge about how to grow a business and build international partnerships. This can provide a change for the organization in the long run. Singapore is ranked as the first option for multi-millionaire international business meetings. Second to Singapore would be New York. This city offers multiple international organizations spread all around the city, making the business more operational and accessible for the clients. They have experienced workers with connections around the world. They are able to educate new employees and new trainees on upgrading their techniques and their way of doing business. New York would be ranked as the second option for an international business meeting. As the last options we have Toronto, because it is preferred to be a local meeting place. In comparison to the other cities, Toronto has less advantages and experience in business and marketing but it is a great local option.
