Governmental perspective on the agreement

The government who are member parties to the Paris agreement on climate have sited high relevance of this accord and have challenged countries not yet members to join and be part of this transformative idea that will see a significant reduction in global warming across their atmospheres. These countries argue that there is an urgent need for countries, not a party to this to be brought on board to avoid suppressing their efforts. By this, they argue that in as much as they will be curbing the effect from their countries, neighboring countries not a party to this will still commit the evil (Clémençon, 2016). Governments who are party to this have pledged their commitment to this promising to support the process and adopt laws that will help in this process within their countries. The United States government has however withdrawn from this agreement citing exploitation on industrialized nations.

Countries involved

The Paris agreement was coined into existence by a unison agreement by 196 nations after which they were given time to address the issue within their governments and to date over 170 Nations have signed the treaty pledging their support and to abide by the agreement. To this effect, 146 countries are ratified and an average 46 of the member countries signing the agreement treaty. These deals have however brought together countries from the Middle East, Europe, America, Australia and African context.

Historical perspective of The Paris Agreement

The Paris agreement was milestone achievements after several attempts to curb or somewhat limit greenhouse gas emissions failed. Some of the struggles that did not go through were the Rio de Janeiro, Kyoto and Copenhagen agreements that were not adopted. Discussions on this topic had also intensified from the 20th century when the global warming impact was felt. The debate by Paris, Stockholm and the New International Economic Order (NIEO) was to bring about some significant changes in addressing climate change (Savaresi, 2016). Several parties pulled interest in the matter sighting cases of global affairs. Most of the issues related to impact on climate change trace history to several years ago when industrialization kicked in. This process of rapid growth in construction of industries was witnessed across Europe.

Politics in the recent past have also played a vital role in this effect as it affects global economics.

Other principal players and contributors to the confining of the Paris treaty was tension between the industrialized and developing countries. To this respect, this argument was to ensure that industrialized nations needed to bear the lions share regarding cost as they were the main contributors to these climatic shifts (Savaresi, 2016). The countries, Brazil, South Africa, India, and China formed a negotiating front to speak in the interest of the developing nations which their level of industrialization had a lesser impact on the environment. It must be stated that this was put into account by the Paris Agreement which has been argued to be an expansive and improved approach to solving the issue.

Social impact of the Paris agreement

This signed agreement by close to over 170 countries globally has a major impact on a more social nature in that this agreement has been able to bring nations together united under one course. Over one hundred and ninety-six representatives globally interacted in the discussion of the same and to this effect, it is clear that this played a significant social role in that they were able to exchange ideas based on cultural views and concepts (Jayaraman, 2016). Some of the recommendations by the agreement will affect social life at the countries levels in that some provisions in the agreement calls for a speedy change in how issues are handled and addressed.

Economic impact of the Paris agreement

The Paris agreement is scheduled to have a significant economic impact on the member countries. To begin with, there are sanctions put in place for any party that dares to pull out of the agreement resulting in economic bans on matters related to trade, export, and imports. An example is the United States that has pulled out of the deal and is yet to face several bans and economic implications. The agreement is putting grave measures on any party who does not abide by the rules stipulated in managing greenhouse effect (Jayaraman, 2016). These repercussions include substantial financial penalties that will shake the economy. Due to this countries have a mandate to invest highly to evade being penalized. This will create job opportunities for those who will supervise the process.

There is an also substantial financial contribution that is expected to be provided for by countries to tackle the problem associated with global warming. This vast commercial investment will have a dramatic impact on the countries’ economies with industrialized nations receiving the more significant burden following the decision as not to contribute to the same magnitude to developing countries (Jayaraman, 2016). This will see a substantial financial impact to these nations such as the Great Britain, France, Spain and many others. As to this effect nations considered to be highly industrialized will have to bear enormous burdens on their shoulders to meet the high financial cost related to this project.

Political impact of the Paris agreement

Well, Paris agreement is one that is binding to several nations in the world both from the Asian continent, Europe, South and North America as well as the African continent. Politics is the basis of these continents, and such agreements have a high impact on political scenes (Jayaraman, 2016). In most cases, the governments play a major role as to these agreements because they must be done in the interest of the nation. In the event of a country withdrawing from the agreement, they may be put under sanctions by the provisions of this agreement. This, in turn, will bring a political unrest from member countries as these sanctions involve direct member countries confrontation and penalties.

Possible future concerns regarding the agreement

The Paris Agreement has projected future fears that will be associated with its application in the world. Some of the planned matters will be the withdrawal of key member countries like the case of the United States and as to whether the program will manage to finance its operations (Clémençon, 2016). Another future concern is whether nations will strictly conform to the contribution even when faced with financial constraints in their own countries. Another critical matter will be as to whether the project will be able to reduce the global warming as projected and anticipated drastically and what will be the measures to curb this in case the plan does not work appropriately.

Conclusion

To conclude with, the Paris Agreement is one of the crucial treaties that have been signed globally. This agreement that expresses a significant concern on global environmental impact was aimed at ensuring the world is a better place free from greenhouse effects and global warming. It was however structured in a way that all nations are in the form of coalition to tackle this environmental menace. It is my wish that countries abide by the provisions of this treaty to obtain a positive impact regarding making the world a better place to live in. Global warming is a major challenge affecting both industrialized countries and developing countries making such decisions crucial to the effect of a better world. This agreement is however strictly to serve the interest of the next generation.
