My name is [REDACTED], and I am 17 years old and currently in the 12th grade. This is going to be my sixth year at Walnutwood High School, and these past years at Walnutwood have been phenomenal. My family consists of five sisters, including myself. My father, Ali, is a general contractor while my mother, Pakiza, is a former elementary teacher. My hobbies would include watching soccer games with my family, playing video games, and drawing sometimes.
I would like to consider myself a responsible person, and I do what I am supposed to do. Currently, I am a student in school, therefore I do my homework every day and study for what I learn on. I pay attention to the most class of the time as well. I also organize my work as well. However, my time management is a certain thing I need to improve on and will hopefully fix by the end of the school year. I always try to look on the positive side to anything school-related. I work productively with the people who are willing to help me achieve my academic goals. Sometimes, I do have difficulty working independently, although I come to a family member or teacher on an assignment or question I do not understand.
I try to be a reliable person and real support for family and friends. I always try to help solve any problem. My family and friends say I am capable of leading when an individual is not capable to manage something. My strength is setting and planning my academic and long-term goals. However, my weakness is constantly procrastinating or being easily distracted while studying. I view myself as persistent and independent when it comes to anything school-related.
I am grateful, full of love and have a desire to study well because it will help me become a successful person in the future and have a high quality of life. I believe that it is proving every day. I feel more responsible for my actions and where I go. With all I already have, I know that I’m on the right path, and I will do my best to inspire others. My goals at Walnutwood High School would be to try and better my grades, improve my GPA, and push myself to graduate early. I want to try new things Walnutwood High School provides and be able to learn from my mistakes. I plan to graduate and get accepted into UC Davis to become a nurse. To improve my work performance and myself, I believe there are still many things I have to learn and need to strive for having a better life in the future.
