Human rights are important to me because I think they keep everyone in order and can help everyone know they are equal to one another and not only that I also think human rights help with letting people fully express themselves and be who they want to be. Furthermore, human rights also assure safety, security, and freedom. In my opinion, feeling safe is one of the most important things in life because without the feeling of security or liberty you feel lost, intimidated and vulnerable. Without human rights, I think the world would wreak havoc, people would start to use violence to gain power and everyone’s thought of life would be ‘survival of the fittest’.
I believe the world would be chaotic and slavery would become a big thing if there were no human rights. This is because when all of the articles are in use they help keep everyone calm and in manner. However, when human rights are taken away the world would have no order causing wars, murders, genocides, and robberies. All of the above will become common. Moreover, how could a government still exist when there is such havoc and if jobs even matter by then you could be enslaved to work 18 hours a day. Yet, if you have a job that is a high class you would have it easier than other people that have. Such as, if your job has manual labor you will have high demands for the products you may produce. Likewise, if you were working a middle-class job you would be forced to work many hours staring at a screen.
Another thought I have is that people would be more violent if there were no human rights. I think this because in the world there are always going to be people who will hurt and when that happens its human nature that we start to follow or defend. Although you may be defending your loved ones and yourself that could cause you to harm other people to keep you safe. Furthermore, if your the people who join you slowly start to encourage that violence is okay. Not only that when you are put into a situation where you have to literally fight for your life everyone is willing to do what they need to do. The physically strongest will be superior and that would be how a social pyramid would form with the weakest/slaves at the bottom and the strongest/murderers at the top. This is all caused by getting rid of articles 3, 4, and 5; these articles are all related to preventing physical abuse and any form of bodily harm.
My last prediction I have is that everyone’s mindset will be ‘survival of the fittest. I believe this because when there are going to be superiors and subordinates some elites will take the others out to gain more power. When all of this massacring is happening around you, your mind slowly starts to change the way it thinks to make sure you survive which is just our human nature by adapting. Nonetheless, when your mindset starts to think like this it is not good because you would be very cautious and would always be aware and alert of everything you could just drive yourself insane by being paranoid about death. This happens when articles 6, 19, 29. Those articles helped with being able to project your opinion, equality, and respect of others.
